Girl Scout & Brownie Programs

Cave Spring offers the following clinics for Girl Scouts
& Brownies. These may be scheduled Tuesday - Saturday
between 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. with clinics lasting two hours except
for the 1-hour self-guided hike.
A minimum of 10 scouts are required to hold a clinic. Cave
Spring provides the supplies, instruction, and cleanup. Print
our Registration Form and send it in with your payment, or
call 816-358-2283 to make arrangements to be sent a registration
form. Be sure to read our Cancellation Policy.
In addition, Cave Spring is a great place for bridging ceremonies,
camp overs and service projects. Call for details. See also:

Be sure to check our calendar of events to see if we have
any Special Events that might be of interest to your scout
group. Your group will be sure to enjoy an evening with Mountain

Cancellation / Inclement Weather Policy
Due to the nature of our scheduling we do not offer
refunds for cancellations. In the event of inclement
weather you may choose to reschedule, have an indoor
program (class size permitting, not available for self-guided
tours), or receive a credit to be used at any time in
the future.

Fee: $4.00 per Brownie

Night Hikes
Fee: $4.00 per Scout

Come enjoy a hike through the woods, visit the cave,
& learn about the habits of nocturnal animals.
Then its to the fire ring where the Scout troop
leaders demonstrate fire building & discuss fire
safety. Once the fires flaming its time
to roast marshmallows!
Cave Spring provides marshmallows, roasting sticks
& firewood. Scouts bring flashlights, sit-upons
& kindling for fire.

Self Guided Hikes
Fee: $2.00 per Scout
Maximum: 50 students
Minimum: 10 students
Available: 9 am 3 pm

Would your troop like to visit Cave Spring just for
a hike? Then sign up for a one-hour self-guided tour.
Your troops adventure begins with a visit to
the center to view the exhibits. Then its outdoor fun
along the hiking trails as you lead your troop on a
nature and history scavenger hunt.
Cave Spring provides a trail manual for the leader
and scavenger hunt booklets for each scout.

Camp Overs
$25 per troop per night and a Good Turn service project.

Troops may campover at Cave Spring. You provide all
the camping equipment and we provide indoor restrooms!
